World Book Day at Haileybury Astana

Years at school can be really fun, and today we had a great time as we celebrated World Book Day.

Pupils dressed as characters from lots of books they have been reading and we had a great celebration of it with our junior school pupils.

Just as important, research shows for our senior school pupils that reading for even an hour a week can raise your exam grades by at least one! So it really helps everyone. Lets encourage all of our children to keep reading books and help foster the real sense of adventure and fun that reading can bring all of us. If children see their parents reading at home, it can encourage it even more!

Also, a Book sale this year raised over KZT230 000 for SOS Children’s Village.

We would like to thank everyone who has donated a book for the Book sale and support on World Book Day!
