A Haileybury education offers a world of opportunity for talented children aged 4-18 who wish to embrace the challenge of pursuing academic excellence, gain fulfilment through participation in our broad range of co-curricular activities in keeping with the best traditions of British independent school education.
Haileybury Almaty is a non-profit organisation in Kazakhstan that was created with the financial support of local businessmen whose goal was to make a positive impact on the community. All proceeds are invested in educational programmes and infrastructure, ensuring that pupils have the best possible learning environment.
Haileybury Almaty is an academically selective institution and currently accepts from 20% to 40% of applicants for entrance exams. We expect and assist our pupils to achieve excellent examination results at IGCSE and A Levels.
University Counselling and advice service: “World’s TOP universities” supports pupils throughout the applications process and helps Haileybury Almaty graduates to secure admissions to top universities worldwide, including prestigious institutions like Harvard, MIT, Yale University, Columbia University, Brown University, Oxford, Cambridge, Berkeley, Imperial College London and others to study a wide range of courses. Various extracurricular activities and projects help pupils to stand out among other applicants and receive full and partial scholarships for their academic excellence.

Haileybury Almaty offers scholarship opportunities to talented pupils to join Year 9 and Year 12 to experience british education in Almaty. Graduates receive scholarships from universities, affirming the school's high-level preparation and appeal to top higher education institutions worldwide.
Haileybury Almaty also demonstrates selectivity in recruiting teachers. We strive to attract highly qualified and experienced educators who possess not only academic knowledge but also a passion for teaching and nurturing the younger generation. The school is very proud of our close links with Haileybury UK and Haileybury Astana with whom we share both their traditions and values, whilst we value close links with our local comumunity in Almaty. Strategic Development Plan
Haileybury Almaty has an ambitious vision to establish the highest educational goals in Kazakhstan.
Our staff are valued as the key drivers of improvement.
The implementation of these goals is the shared responsibility of all staff members, with the Board of Governors, Senior Leadership and Middle Leadership teams of both the Haileybury Almaty Senior School and Junior Schools taking the primary responsibility for leading and monitoring the process.
