We are thrilled to announce that Albina has been accepted into the University of Toronto to study Astrophysics.
Albina has been awarded the prestigious Lester B. Pearson scholarship, the most coveted university scholarship award in Canada. It covers her full tuition and accommodation for four years. The University of Toronto, ranked 21st globally, places higher than three Ivy League universities, making this achievement even more remarkable.
We are especially grateful to Air Astana for their generous support in flying Albina to her new place of study, and the school has also provided both financial and resource support. This act of kindness ensures that Albina can focus on her academic pursuits without the burden of travel expenses.
The Canadian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Mr. Alan Hamson, personally visited Haileybury Almaty to congratulate Albina and our school, warmly welcoming her to Canada. His visit highlights the significance of Albina’s achievement and the bright future that awaits her.
