We are thrilled to share the outstanding achievements of our Haileybury Almaty students at the 21st International Zhautykov Olympiad (IZHO 2025) in Mathematics and Informatics.
This prestigious competition brought together some of the brightest minds from around the globe, and our students truly shone on the international stage.
Mathematics Achievements
- Miron (Year 13, Bartle Frere) achieved an incredible 37 points, earning a gold medal 🏅 with the highest score among all participants in the Mathematics category. This is an extraordinary accomplishment that highlights Miron’s exceptional talent and hard work.
- Amirlan (Year 12, Kipling) secured another gold medal 🏅 with an impressive 35 points, demonstrating remarkable skill and dedication.
- Timur (Year 12, Bartle Frere) achieved 26 points, earning a well-deserved silver medal 🥈 and showcasing his incredible abilities in Mathematics.
Informatics Achievement
- Nazar (Year 13, Attlee) received a silver medal 🥈in Informatics, further solidifying Haileybury Almaty’s reputation for excellence in STEM education.
