We are thrilled to announce that Haileybury Almaty has emerged as one of the Top 3 Performing Schools of the 2023 WEC National/Regional Cups & Continental Qualifiers in our region!
This prestigious award recognizes schools that have achieved outstanding results based on the average total scores of their top 6 individuals.
A few months ago, our incredible team of 18 pupils embarked on a journey to compete in the initial round of the World Economics Cup. Even at that stage, we knew we had something special. Two of our teams had already secured their spots in the highly anticipated Asia Continental Finals, which will take place in August. Furthermore, we had an impressive eight pupils who ranked in the top 10 individually.
Now, we have yet another reason to celebrate! Haileybury Almaty has been recognized as one of the top-performing schools in the region. This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and exceptional talent of our students.
A special shout-out goes to Steve and Julie for their remarkable guidance and support throughout this journey. It's worth mentioning that the majority of the pupils who achieved these extraordinary results belong to years 10-12. Their commitment and determination have truly paid off, and we couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments.
