Haileybury Almaty is proud to celebrate the exceptional achievements of two talented students, Aitemir (Year 4, Attlee House) and Alibek (Year 12, Kipling House), who demonstrated their academic excellence at the prestigious STEMCO Olympiad 2025 in Singapore.
Competing against participants from 13 countries, both students showcased their knowledge and skills in Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Maths, bringing home multiple medals:

The STEMCO Olympiad is a globally recognised competition that challenges students to apply their academic knowledge in innovative and practical ways. Designed to test both theoretical understanding and critical thinking, the competition covers key scientific disciplines, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Science, and Maths, providing a platform for young minds to showcase their talents and compete on an international level. Participants face rigorous assessments that require problem-solving, creativity, and analytical skills, preparing them for future success in STEM fields.
Aitemir’s bronze medal in Science reflects his curiosity, determination, and enthusiasm for learning at an early age, while Alibek’s gold medal in Physics and double silver medals in Chemistry and Biology highlight his deep understanding of complex scientific concepts and his ability to apply this knowledge under pressure.
