Dr. Sophia Mu, a professor of linguistics and an admissions officer from University College London, visited Haileybury Almaty and Haileybury Astana last week to discuss opportunities in one of the world's best universities.
We are very honored that Dr. Mu chose Haileybury as her first visit to Kazakhstan's schools to visit as Haileybury has provided a steady flow of top-level students ready for the rigor of the world's 8th-ranked university. Many students came away with a much better appreciation of the modern teaching and atmosphere that UCL has created in central London, and surely more of our students will apply, and be accepted, into UCL.
Last month, the University of British Columbia also visited us to encourage more of our students to apply since last year we produced one of their top world scholars, Alexey Dudarev. They expect more this year.
Next month, Haileybury will be hosting the University of Calgary, Canada, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) to meet with our students.
Haileybury graduates are in high demand around the world.
