Yesterday, we had a very special guest Mr Alan Hamson, Ambassador of Canada to Kazakhstan visiting Haileybury Almaty
Mr Hamson met with the Sixth Form pupils, answered their question regarding career in politics, new media, and his professional pathway.
⠀
Mr Alan Hamson expressed his congratulations to Alexey, winner of UBC Karen McKellin International Leader of Tomorrow award, who has been accepted to the University of British Columbia.
⠀
Alexey has recently received the Karen McKellin International Leader of Tomorrow award, one of the biggest scholarship awards in Canada.
⠀
The Karen McKellin International Leader of Tomorrow Award is a tuition fee waiver award that covers almost all of the student’s tuition and expenses. This is an award that honours foreign undergraduate students who excel in academics, leadership, engagement in student affairs, community service, and other recognised achievements.
⠀
Alexey is the first Haileybury Almaty pupil who received the Karen McKellin International Leader of Tomorrow award. Congratulations!
