Haileybury Astana Students Secure Top Spots at the IAC's Mediation Competition

The IAC Court in Kazakhstan organized a special mediation training event for high school students in Kazakhstan. They also hosted the 2nd IAC Annual High School Mediation Competition at their facility in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The goal of these events was to provide interactive training and competition experiences for high school students, equipping them with skills in international mediation. The aim was to help them improve their relationships and prevent conflicts in both their personal and professional lives.

The trainers at the IAC were accredited international mediators from the UK's Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), who are part of the IAC Case Management team led by Mr. Almat Igenbayev, Managing Director of the AIFC Court and IAC Case Management Department.

Twelve students between the ages of 14 and 18, selected from Haileybury Astana and Astana Garden School, participated in this year's competition. Malika (15) from AGS emerged as the winner, while students from Haileybury Astana, Zsofia, and Lilian, secured the 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively.
