Haileybury Astana's Charitable Expansions: Making a Positive Impact Together
At Haileybury Astana, we place a strong emphasis on charity, fostering a sense of community, and dedicating ourselves to making a positive and significant impact. Since our latest update, our charity initiatives have been expanded.
1. Led by our colleague, Olga Bondarenko, a devoted supporter and active volunteer at the animal rescue shelter @serdca_astany, we donated a washing machine and organized a drive to provide blankets and personal computers to the animal shelter.
2. In the spirit of Christmas, we proudly relaunched our traditional charity campaign, 'Haileybury Makes Wishes Come True,' supporting the SOS Children's Villages in Astana. We gathered children's wishes, encouraged our community to purchase gifts, and joyfully delivered these gifts to children.
3. The Haileybury Parents Association (HPA) hosted a New Year’s Eve celebration in an artistic style. All proceeds from ticket sales and the lottery were generously donated to the @podari_detyam_more charity project, which supports children with cerebral palsy through rehabilitation. The Haileybury community raised over 1 000 000 tenge. Our sincere appreciation to the entire Haileybury community, as the collective efforts and kindness of each member have been instrumental in making these donations a reality.
