What is the role of the school counsellor?

We would like to invite parents of the Senior School pupils to attend the presentation led by Bakhyt Adrysheva (School Counsellor) and Inna Hakobyan (Deputy Head Whole School). The topic of the workshop is «What is the role of the school counsellor?». As part of the Parent Partnership Programme, Ms Adrysheva and Miss Hakobyan will answer crucial questions, such as «What is well-being? What does it look and sound like?» and «What are the barriers to communication for parents?»

The well-being of pupils is at the forefront of Haileybury Astana ethos. We strive to develop resilient, inquisitive, curious, reflective and most importantly, happy future leaders. To achieve that, educators and parents must work together and use every opportunity to support the children.

Moreover, Ms Adrysheva will explain her role at school and talk extensively about the services she provides as a mental health professional. Haileybury Astana is committed to supporting the students’ mental health and well-being so that they can become successful and enjoy their time at school.

  • Date: October 19th
  • Time: 2 pm
  • Location: Mrs Hakobyan's office
  • Russian speaking staff to support with communication

We look forward to seeing you at the presentation!
