Unity Day Parade

As an International Baccalaureate World School, our philosophy runs in parallel with the IB's own principles, which aim to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people.

On April 28th, in honour of the national holiday, we celebrated the annual Unity Day and invited all members of our community to wear their national costumes or orange clothes that represent the colour of unity.

Throughout the day, our pupils painted faces with peace signs, created posters about the world and friendship, and made orange paper chains. Later, they went outside and linked the paper chains together during the Unity parade as a symbol of our diversity and respect for each other.

Here at Haileybury Astana, we are a community of peace seekers and changemakers, and we are proud of it.
