Scholarships for IBDP 2025 - 2027

Haileybury Astana offers the IB Diploma programme and has a strong and lively 6th form provision leading to application to the very top universities in the UK, America and worldwide.

The IB programme is a two-year course highly regarded by top schools all over the UK and internationally and can lead to significant credit being awarded when applying to American Universities. Students can take the IB from the age of 16 years and enjoy the support and help from our teachers every step of the way.

As part of our commitment to the people of Kazakhstan, we offer a limited number of scholarships in the amount of 100% to the best students of Kazakhstan who cannot afford paid tuition at our school. There is also an opportunity to receive a partial scholarship.

The competition will consist of the following stages:

• 1st stage: Subject testing (English, Mathematics, Science) – Saturday, November 9, 2024.   
• 2nd stage: CAT4 – Saturday, November 23, 2024.  
• *Team challenge event (date TBA)
• 3rd stage: Interviews with the successful candidates. (dates TBA)
• 4th stage: Results and Finance review (dates TBA)

Conditions for scholarships:

1. The age of the candidate shall correspond to the required age category - date of birth in the period from: 31/08/2008 – 30/08/2009 only (Date of Birth)
2. Citizenship: Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. English level: Advanced.
4. High academic performance in the previous school.
5. Successful completion of subject testing.
6. Successful completion of the interview with the school’s management.
7. Provision of necessary financial documents.

Terms of the competition:

Candidates who have submitted documents on time and successfully passed the qualifying round will be invited to the subject testing at the school. The date and time of the test will be sent in an invitation letter to the candidate.
